Men's Saturday Morning Breakfast Oct 10th

On Saturday morning the fellowship hall at Mount Calvary fills with the smell of coffee and biscuits before most of Banner Elk is fully awake. Men come in from the mountain roads in flannel and work jackets, pull up a chair, and settle in around round tables. There is no rush. Somebody prays, plates get passed, and the talk moves easily from the week’s work and the weather to family, Scripture, and whatever is on a man’s heart. It is simple, unhurried fellowship: a warm room, a good meal, and brothers who show up for one another before the day gets going.
